To create a virtual reality (VR) femoral nailing simulator combining haptics and image intensifier functionality then carry out validation studies to assess its educational value. The consisted of 3D environment, haptic device printed drill handle VR headset. environment was created using video game development engine, interfaced with plugins allow feedback functionality. Two tasks were within the as part an antegrade intramedullary (IM) nail procedure: proximal guidewire entry distal locking.For study, participants performed above on simulator. Metrics collected including time taken, number X-rays tool distance travelled used construct validity.
